Climbing The Stairway To Heaven

-Through Prayer

Our prayers are our heaven-bound stairs,

We must climb them each and every day.

If we truly want to reach God,

There simply is no other way.

For when we talk to our God,

In our constant and continuous prayers,

We can ask him to show us His Grace and His Mercy

Through out all of our burdens and cares.

So start praying in the morning,

Although your day's seem steep.

 Keep climbing, climbing upward,

Until you close your eyes in sleep.

For our prayers are the well-tread stairs,

That lead us to the Lord.

Oh just to meet Him in our prayer,

Is the climber's great reward.
